It is my honour to welcome you to Sekolah Stella Mundi. In 2015, together with my family, we founded this school with a heartfelt vision to provide our children, and the children of our community, with an education that is both excellent and deeply nurturing. What began as a family dream has grown into a thriving school, and our commitment remains as steadfast today as it was on the very first day.
Andy McGrath is one of the founding directors of Sekolah Stella Mundi, having helped bring the school’s vision to life in 2015. He combined his passion for education, leadership experience, and commitment to community to establish a school where children receive not only excellent academics but also care and character development. Under Andy’s guidance, Stella Mundi has grown from its early days with just a few students to a full learning community that is now recognised as a registered Cambridge school. He holds qualifications including a BA, BSc, Diploma in Education, and an MBA, which strengthen his approach to combining educational rigour with holistic care.
Andy often shares that the strength of a school lies in its community as well as its programmes. He continues to lead with humility, listening to students, families, and staff, and keeps the original commitment alive by ensuring that Stella Mundi remains true to its mission of offering excellent, values-driven education in a nurturing environment.
